Your wedding flowers, funeral blooms or special flowers can be carefully dried, arranged and preserved inside a crystal-clear resin butterfly, creating a beautiful and meaningful flower preservation keepsake made especially for you.
 
Handmade in Scotland using your own flowers, every butterfly is individually created and completely unique.

Your flowers are not simply sent to me and turned into a finished piece without your input.
 
I'll keep in touch with you throughout the whole process, from receiving your flowers to completing your floral resin keepsake.
 
The arrangement is designed around your wishes, ideas and preferences, while I'll also share my advice and experience on flower placement, colours and composition. We'll work together to create a design that feels right for you before your flowers are permanently preserved.

How your flower preservation keepsake is created
Once you place your order, I'll send you everything you need to know about safely sending your flowers.
 
Your blooms are carefully dried and prepared before I personally arrange them according to your chosen design. They are then preserved inside premium UV-resistant epoxy resin.
 
Once cured, your butterfly is carefully sanded, polished and hand-finished before being securely packaged and sent to you.
 
Preservation time
Please allow approximately 6–8 weeks from the date I receive your flowers.
Flower preservation takes time, and different flowers and foliage can require different drying times. I'll keep you updated throughout the process if your flowers need additional time.
 
Real flowers are naturally unique
Because your keepsake is made with real flowers, some natural changes can occur during drying and preservation. Colour, size and texture may vary, and occasionally a flower may not preserve well enough to use.
 
Sending a few extra blooms is recommended where possible, giving me more flowers to choose from when creating your arrangement.
 
Small air bubbles and other natural characteristics can also occur with handmade resin pieces.
